Have you ever wondered what would happen if Wheatley and GLaDOS were humans instead of robots? Join Chell as she ventures the lab in search for her mother whom she believes is still alive. Will she find her?

[Before this book starts I just want to clarify that this is my first ever legit story so I'll be almost as sorry as Wheatley if it turns out bad. I also want to clarify that it contains spoilers of the real game.] So there he was, the core was there, floating aimlessly throughout the cold, vast space for eternity, with his so called 'Space Partner', trying to keep himself amused. And there she was, the dangerous, mute, lunatic, out of Aperture. Wandering upon the wheat field about her. The core and the mute had had their times, their moments, good and bad, they don't have much in common. Except for one emotion...

Everybody knows one of the most iconic parts of Portal 2. The core transfer in Chapter 5 but what if Chell and Wheatley failed to execute it before GLaDOS stopped them? Would Chell be able to escape Aperture?

What comes after a storm well a rainbow of course. After 5 years of calm Mel is finally back in Apature but not for long as she takes a new leap of adventures outside with her 2 cores but now they are different read along as Mel and Chell cross paths and unite to stop a new chain of madness from the queen of Apature. Chell wakes up. The same grey room. The same puzzles. Had it just been a dream? Her freedom, the wheat field, the blue sky.... The moon? Was that even real? Something isn't right. It's Glados' birthday but she doesn't seem to be in a party mood and chell has to find out what's upset her so much.

But when she's given a pamphlet to be a test subject for the grand opening of Aperture Science Laboratories,where they don't ask questions or require anything of you, she thought it was the perfect opportunity for her. They pay 40 dollars per test she does and ended when summer was over which worked out well for her to continue her studies. However once she warily signed up for the 16 week program that they had where they have her doing insane puzzles and dangerous tasks, she slowly starts to believe that this sketchy place was more than she bargained for.

In his nervous rambling Wheatley accidently slips what's really on his mind. Short oneshot.
