"It's all fun and games 'till somebody falls in love." The only thing that Riley Matthews has ever known about relationships is that they all end. That's how it's always been, all around her. Her parents broke off their marriage after too many late-night whispered arguments, and she's just recently been through a break-up with the school's biggest jerk, Lucas Friar. She's in senior year, trying to scrape up enough money to make it into NYU, but knows it won't be quite enough. So she works at the city carnival for a week. She likes the job, it pays well enough, so she keeps going. Every few days she switches booths. She never thought she would happen to meet Farkle Minkus, the quietest kid in school and the resident genius. He comes to the carnival almost every night, just to Riley's stations, then disappears without a trace. As a kid Sally never got what she wanted. She had abusive drug addic parents, she always had to do things herself, she always depended on herself and trusted no one but her self causing the effect of having no friends. She was alone in the world, he only friend was gone and dead. Sooner or later her parents put her up for adoption all she was to them was a messy stupid accident. Will someone save her from her own suicidal thoughts. Can they? ( will update weekly!) (Doing updates and fixing errors so I will pause on the chapters for a bit)
