Highschool. Her very first year, too. Marietta Glossan (Marie for short) isn't exactly happy about it this year. And Leroy ends up dealing with the relentless teasing of highschool boys for the exact same reason! Even though both Marie and Leroy are persistent about being friends, and start out as friends, they start slowly falling for each other, but it would be disastrous if anyone found out, especially the Garden Girls.
