A young and desperate woman, forced by her brother to marry a man she doesn't love, walks along the dark and mysterious corridors of the manor where she is now compelled to live. But something lurks in those corridors, something or someone. Could it be a ghost? The Silence is a short gothic tale I wrote some years ago for a school competition. Hope you enjoy it.
