In the ashes of a fallen empire, Seris Vale works as a quiet archivist-until she uncovers a forbidden fragment of the Echo Genome, an ancient code powerful enough to rewrite reality itself. The moment she unlocks it, the sky burns crimson. Machines buried for centuries begin to wake. And the Dominion that rules her world brands her a heretic marked for execution. Hunted by soldiers, haunted by memories that don't belong to her, and guided by a wanderer who shouldn't exist, Seris is pushed into a rebellion she never asked for. But every time she uses her gift-Ignis Vitae-she burns away pieces of her own past. As armies rise, gods break their silence, and the truth of reincarnated Ascendants begins to surface, Seris must choose: Let the world stay broken... or burn it down to bring it back to life. The first spark of the Ecliptic War ignites here.

This law teaches the art of remaining independent, keeping your alliances fluid, and navigating relationships with clarity. Commitment should be strategic, not instinctive; influence grows when you retain mobility and choice.

Anna Whitfield never questioned the safety of her small-town church life-until Elias walked in. Charismatic, devout, and new to Fairhaven, he seems eager to serve, eager to belong. Too eager. What begins as chance meetings and friendly encouragement soon spirals into something far more dangerous? Notes appear under Anna's door. Flowers she never asked for. Late-night messages laced with Scripture. To everyone else, Elias is the picture of Christian sincerity. To Anna, he is a shadow tightening around her life. As his fixation escalates from subtle surveillance to public confrontation, Anna must fight to be believed-and to survive the devotion of a man convinced that God Himself has chosen her as his bride. Obsession hides behind faith. Love blurs into control. And one woman learns how thin the line is between sanctuary and cage.

Cecelia Palmer had one goal her entire life - to be free. That sounds deep and profound but she doesn't mean it that way. She doesn't mean being free from the oppressive shackles of society nor does she mean being free from the constraints that are innately human. She just means freedom to be herself and live how she wants. She doesn't want much just a small, quaint house where she can be at peace away from constant surveillance. Where she doesn't feel like her existence is a performance. She realized pretty early on this can only happen if she works and she saves because money is what makes the world go around. She doesn't like the capitalist order of society but this is the economic order she has to survive in. In an attempt to make her dreams come true, in her 2nd year at the University of Bristol Law School, Cecelia takes up a part-time paralegal position at Saikia Wong and Co. This one decision changes the entire course of her life. Syd Richardson, takes up a keen interest in her. The problem? They couldn't possibly be more different. Cecelia wants freedom, she craves rebellion. Syd? For her, community is everything. She lives for others. Cecelia wants to do everything on own. Syd? Has never done anything on her own. She has fostered meaningful connections, built a network she can rely on. What happens when these two world views collide? Who wins in the clash between independence and co-dependence? ---- A little context - "We Could Both Run Away" is inspired by the song - "The Story" by Conan Gray. I heard the song on repeat and it created this idea in my brain that I wanted to write into a story. This is my first attempt at writing. I will not be using any AI while writing or editing this because I want this story to be my own, including the typos, the grammatical mistakes and the human errors. Hope you like it :) --

The Architect of Souls By Amina Abdulaziz This is not a book. It's a reckoning. A reclamation of truth whispered beneath generations of silence. Amina Abdulaziz doesn't ask to be understood-she dares you to witness. In The Architect of Souls, the body becomes scripture, memory becomes map, and language becomes both weapon and womb. Blending poetic reflection, philosophical inquiry, and lived experience, Amina dismantles the scaffolding of societal obedience-brick by brick, belief by belief. Written from the intersection of motherhood, migration, neurodivergence, and mysticism, this is a journey through betrayal, belonging, survival, and sovereignty. She exposes the architecture of generational trauma and constructs something far more sacred in its place: herself. This book is a temple for those who have always been too much, too soft, too questioning, too aware. It's an invitation to stop shrinking and start shaping-to become the architect of your own soul. Inside, you won't find answers. You'll find doorways. To memory. To motion. To self.

The poem begins by questioning what the future might reveal about the current state of humanity, suggesting that it will bring more stories, potentially darker and more complex than those we already know.

In Etheca, each and every person lives a full life. All diseases and illnesses have been eradicated, and there are no more genetic defects or abnormalities which impede on the quality of life. All resources are shared equally amongst all people and every phase of life is catered for to ensure that each human being lasts for their designated 125 years. When one's time on Earth has been exhausted, their body is surrendered to harvest new life. When an infant is grown from the deceased, it supplants its lifegiver and is sterilised to maintain the order of the population. Within this society lineage and genealogy are of no importance; gender has been removed from sex, and from sex the production of human life. Pip was created in Etheca twenty-eight years ago. She is an only child to her two caregivers and has no plans to be one herself. She has trained her whole life to become a leading libera at the Menkin centre, with the hope that she can study the wakers who have established life in Hera, a municipality beyond Etheca. Pip and her team set out on their assignment, and discover that wakers willingly reject medical intervention; their society is rife with sickness and premature death. They meet Eve, a teenage girl desperate to flee Hera, who reveals to Pip and her auxiliary libera, Don, that she is growing a child and will soon undergo a dangerous biological process called birth. Pip is determined to not only save this girl, but to investigate the possibilities she can bring to improve the quality of life in Hera. Unbeknownst to Pip, Don begins to obsess over this new-found understanding of birth, endeavouring to uncover the very genesis of humankind, a notion which threatens to dismantle all of Etheca.
