He cried himself to sleep, mourned, sobbed in pain, and cursed the gods for doing this to him. But Aphrodite always had different ideas. When he woke up with his world suddenly plunged back into colour, and Hazel screaming about Nico's return, it was his job to bring Nico back. With the help of a couple of friends and a feisty bone cat that leads them, will he manage to snatch his love out of Death's hands, and just be happy? I dunno, but that's Aphrodite's matter.

Two days after the battle at Camp Half-Blood, Nico promises Will he will spend three days in the infirmary under Will's care. After Nico almost fades away, Will becomes quite clingy and stays by his side for the rest of his stay. What will happen between them during this time? From what Will's seen, it starts off with a fairly civil fight with the only casualties being potatoes and a tiny cut on his sister's lip. But when tensions between cabins grow the next day, the healing of the injured demigods involved go awry due to something else other than the simple injuries they're recovering from. So distraught by one of the instances, Will tries to figure out what's been going on, but when he does, his state of mind leads some of the others to believe he's just lost it.
