Lance has always kept his second gender a secret, allowing the Voltron team to believe he is a beta. The truth is suddenly revealed when he neglects to grab suppressants and exposes himself in front of Keith. While Keith does agree to keep quiet about the situation, things do not resolve so simply. Lance was keeping a secret from his team and only a small few knew this secret. Coran is one of them because Lance needed a substitution for some medication and Coran was the only one who could help. Everyone thought Lance would be the omega over Shiro. But strangely he was the alpha. Shiro didn't always like being pinned as an omega, He much perffered being called an alpha or beta.
