Due to the colonization of various western countries, our country; an Asian one, is only one of the few that have to concur to the demands of the higher-ups. One being, an official Herculean Tournament is to be implemented in each country. A tournament that determines who is the strongest and most powerful amongst a peer group. They need to learn their place. But what happens when one of the strong isn't like that? He isn't perfect, yes his power commands respect but they don't respect him for who he is, they respect him out of fear what he will do if they don't show it. He isn't a perfect role model, he isn't the top of the class, he isn't formal, he doesn't rise up and lead like he's expected too. And he's completely fine with that. He doesn't live to meet their expectations.

He falls back with a huff, landing hard on the flooded street. Both eyes are revealed as he looks down, frowning. His expression freezes at the sight of sunset-colored eyes, terrified and lost. Tiny hands, pale and bruised, covered in scars, reach up to grab his shirt. "Tasukete!" Nothing is the same since. - I've had this thought for a while, because I think Edgar deserves some love (I love both the author and this character SO much) and I also think Edgar and Atsushi would get along so well.
