All they know is that they got hurt, and blacked out for more than a minute. When they woke up, they recieved strange new abilities. Superpowers. On their wrists, there is a strange engraved symbol on their skin. What could this mean? Are the powers a blessing or a curse? Does this have anything to do with the 'spirits'? (Another Note: Say whaaaat? #1 out of all those hermitcraft?? Wow. Also, I upload 2 chapters or more a day.)

Grian's life was shattered into a million pieces a long time ago. So long ago, he didn't know whether it was ever even whole. When he joined Hermitcraft after running away from the Watchers, it was starting to come together, until season eight began and his life was thrown into chaos. The Watchers were there, and he didn't even know if they were good or bad anymore. He didn't know who to be scared of. And he was forced to question everything in silence, finding refuge only in his magic. And unfortunately for him, things don't always go the way he might have expected - not that he really had any expectations, anyway. There is some mild swearing. A story based back in season six, around mid way through the demise game as this was when I started writing it (I've only decided I may as well submit it here now). It doesn't really follow the timeline but still makes for a pretty ok slow burn. Ok. So, hear me out. There are like no stories of this ship, and this is SUCH an underrated ship. As said above it's set in season six as that's when I started writing this and have only now decided that I may as well post it as it's become pretty fun for me to write. A long time ago Grian was an admin of an amazing server, but he was kidnapped from it, never to see his friends again. Then, he escaped, but everyone was gone. In a world where all magic is outlawed, finding a magic user is a hard thing to do. Being one is so much harder, with authorities who would hunt you down untill they kill you and no-one you can trust, how could a magic user hope to survive? Hermitcraft is a hidden safe-space, where magic users can hide from the authorities, the outside world, in a family of other magic users, but it's impossible to find without being brought there, so many magic users could never hope for salvation, since they don't know it exists.
