Tala Brillantes has everything she could ever wish for. She's the smartest student in her class, and her position as top student has been unchallenged ever since she was a child. Praise is a constant thing she has heard from her loving parents, her cousin whom she loves as a sister, her classmates, and her teachers. And to top it all off, she's blessed with a rare magical ability that allows her to harness the power of the stars. The limelight has always been on her. That is until her longtime academic rival, Noctis Nakagawa, recently bested her in one of their tests. While it shouldn't threaten her that much, Noctis was never one to try and take their competition seriously. And to make matters worse, he becomes her partner for their final group project. If she wants to graduate, she has to convince him to do the project that she knows will get the highest score. But doing so means pulling Noctis on her level, which means she has to work even harder in her classes if she wants to remain in the spotlight. Despite everything, she's confident this competition will be easy, especially with the stars on her side. After all, she herself is a star. And she intends to stay that way. Esternia is a land of cycle. Of balance and rebirth. Whether Human, Eunsi, or Demon, the three territories know this, ruled by the Cearte to forever uphold the thin line between life and death. Esternia and Astren. But Gavin was born a Dávoln: a race of two souls whose very existence spites the gods' wills. He should've been killed at birth, but now it is far too late, he and his Demon sentenced to eternal punishment at the Cearte's hands. Escape was pointless, the enemies' power spreading far beyond the confines of his dungeon cell. That is, until he meets Aoife, a girl with strange, purple fire that defies all rules of magik. She is ridiculous, naive even, but she is powerful: enough to get him out of there. Enough to challenge the very system the Cearte fight so hard to protect. And after all, it's not as though Demons are the only ones who can form deals.

In Tehazihbith, imperfection is a myth. Blessed with divine power, the city's miracle rivers overflow with dust, a glittering, colourful cascade, and its people weave life-giving magic. Imperfection belongs to the beasts and the beastfolk: strange, violent beings that prowl outside the city's protection. When Rayanah Kel-Jabir stumbles upon a wounded, dying beastfolk boy, she's faced with a choice. As a young mage and wielder of dust, trained to defend Tehazihbith from the beasts' mindless attacks, saving the boy's life goes against everything she's ever known--yet for Raya, her perfect nature is a cage, and choices are rare. The more she learns of the boy and his people, the more cracks begin to show in her city's sacred harmony. The winds are shifting, and they sing of blood, spilled from beasts and mages alike. The trouble is hearing the warning notes before it's too late. --◦༄ؘ◦-- ◦ Beautifully illustrated cover by @ToWolfKin ◦

The aes sídhe: an ancient race that holds incredible powers, and a rare sight indeed in Ríenne. Maeve, a brash young woman who holds the power of the sun, is one of the few that remain-and, as far as she knows, the only to reside amongst humans. She's content to lead a simple life, working beside the ocean, healing the sick, and caring for her cattle. But peace is a fickle thing, and it flees easily. When a lone sídhe attempts to ravage her town, Maeve's quiet existence is shattered. To protect her home and understand why she's been targeted, she sets off with the aid of Aeden-a stranger who claims to know where to find the answers. It is a dangerous, long journey to the truth: to survive, Maeve must rely on her flame and new companions more than ever before. As much as she wishes it were otherwise, the world is at stake.
