"The wind in his hair felt nice. It was cooling against the sun and wax that had been burning his back. It reminded him of every moment he sat alone on the window ledge of Minos' tower, praying for some kind of deliverance. Yet, it also reminded him of every moment he sat on the window ledge next to Apollo; he remembered the feeling of Apollo's soft fingers running through his hair, he could remember the feeling of his head against Apollo's chest, listening to his heartbeat. In those moments, he almost felt human." * For a long time, Icarus thought he was alone. Until one night, the world showed him he wasn't. #1st place in the Hip Generation Awards #2nd place in the lgbt category of the Creator's Choice Awards 2020 #1st place in the Atlas Awards 2021 LGBTQ+ category

The moments pass us by; time flows without restrain, never waiting for us. Before we know, moments in our life fly by. But we always have those moments locked in our minds, moments that we learn to forget, cherish, love, hate and grasp tightly on. Sometimes they remain in our minds like a photo album of the moments that we look back to remember what a life we have. But just how many of these moments, so filled with emotions that change us? Or define who we are? This is a story collection with my own thoughts about the various moments in our lives, the various emotions we feel when we are faced with a situation we must deal with. This is a story collection that I hope to convey the various human experiences that would describe who we really are. Cover by @avadel The rest of the graphics are by me Note: I'll add the stories as I edit some existing ones and write the new ones. 1st place winner in Astral Awards 2019 for short story 3rd place winner in Golden Arrow Awards 2019 for short story 1st place winner in The Easter Awards

Some ghosts never die. For William Slate, there's always been his troubled older brother Charlie. When Charlie left home in the aftermath of a violent confrontation, scars and a childhood cut short was the legacy he left behind. Seven years later, William Slate is finally in control, and he won't give that up for anything. Athena Slate is an open book. Self-reliant and brutally honest, she refuses to let anything get in her way. Not an increasingly distant twin brother, not a best friend she hasn't seen in months, and certainly not the things people start to say about her at school... When their father announces that Charlie is returning home, Will and Athena must navigate minefields of memory and family. ⭐️FEATURED by @StoriesUndiscovered, @YA, @CommunityTeam, and @NewAdult ⭐️
