Even though Nightwing's plan succeeds and Wally is saved, most of the team have yet to trust him again. And Wally... has rejected Nightwing as a friend. Those who don't have a grudge think Nightwing will just bounce back. After all he is a son of Batman. But even Nightwing has his breaking point...

As expected, Nightwing is taking full blame for that 'horrible' plan, Artemis and Kaldur have tried to share that blame but he refuses. He believes he is to be blamed for everything. And maybe he is. But he's determined to fix what he's done. EDIT: This story has been discontinued and will eventually be rewritten with the same name and cover.

Nightwing has been abandoned, first by his mentor, Bruce, then by Wally, his best friend, then by his second family, and now by everyone else. They blame him for what happened to Wally, they blame him for Kaldur almost dying, for Megan getting captured, for the destruction of the cave, and for keeping this all secret from them. Nobody asked him if he wanted to be left in charge, nobody asked him if he was alright during the invasion, nobody seemed to remember that he was only eighteen, nobody seemed to realize that he had to become Batman and protect Gotham along with Bludhaven , and nobody seemed to care about what their words did to him. Everyone knows that stress can hurt you, that you should try to get unstressed when you are stressed. However, some people can't, and so, what happens to them? Sequel to Nightwing, Gone to Soon. Dick is alive, but he is far from ok. He is in a mental institution so that he doesn't kill himself again. Since he emerged from the laserus pit, he has been thrashing and trying to hurt himself. He is not the same, he is shattered. The team and League, venture into his mind to try and save his soul. What will happen, when they see what Dick has seen? What will happen when his deepest fears are revealed? What happens when they find out when his depression started, and how many tomes he's tried to die?

Even though everything seemed to be ok, Nightwing knew otherwise. They thought that he didn't notice the hateful stares, the way they falter when they said his name, hell, he even knew they where ignoring his attempts to talk with all of them. It's been a month since Wally, and everyone hated Dick. Even if they don't tell it straight to his face, he knows. He lost his best friend and has been going non stop get him back, I mean why wouldn't he. After all, Dick should have nwen the one to die, not Wally, cuz Wally had too much to live for, Dick didn't. He'd been cast out from the batfamily, ignored by the team, and worst of all, he had been abandoned by everyone he cared for. He is in a state of depression, and it's only getting worse.
