Becoming an orphan at age 8 she is used to being alone and only having herself to depend on. While sitting through a lecture she is alerted that her pack is being attacked by hunters. Without a pack and not yet having found her mate she is alone once again and left with only two options. She can either run and continue to survive the way she had been doing for 18 years or, fight back against a population that as a whole is opposed to her existence and determined to end it.
