The Legend of the Samurai was exactly that: a legend. A fairy tale. It had never once crossed Evie's mind that it was actually all real. The story also seemed to have forgotten to specify that the Samurai had a blonde American tagalong and that the Samurai's name wasn't even Japanese. Honestly, what is up with that?

There, the kids meet a good friend of Kali's, Lewis, who's an inventor. Also, Violet meets and soon falls head over heels for a mysterious stranger, Wilbur Robinson. Wilbur soon takes the gang on an adventure in his time machine to the future, where they learn an important lesson about keep moving forward and also uncover an amazing secret that will change all of their lives forever.
