It's April 1945 and the end of an era is nearing. Nazi Germany is being pushed back by the Soviet Union and the Allies have already landed into France, surrounding the nation on all sides. As the closing of WW2 draws near, a Wehrmacht officer retreats from the Eastern Front alone with no men to accompany him. On his way, he meets a little girl from the Hitler Youth in a terrible condition. What happens when they begin to run away together from the Soviet Horde while avoiding fellow countrymen who now aim to kill them for betraying the fatherland in order to surrender to the Western Powers?
