Josie Guerrero is focused on one thing: getting accepted into the prestigious art studies program within the Art School at the University of Southern Washington. With thirteen weeks to create her sophomore portfolio, she knows she can't afford any distractions, but when an ink-coated basketball player walks into her life, even she can't deny the cosmic ties pulling them together. Micah Costa is just trying to get through his senior year at the University of Southern Washington unscathed. Although, after finding out about his estranged father's cancer diagnosis, his not-so-impressive projections in the NBA draft, and the stress of filling Tristan Beck's shoes as team captain of his three-time NCAA championship-winning basketball team, he's starting to crack under the pressure. Only, he can't drown his worries in liquor like he used to - instead, by a serendipitous twist of fate, it's a five-foot-one, ribbon-wearing art student with paint-spotted hands that begins to ease his mind.

Summary: Harry is YN's brother's best friend and YN isn't a little kid anymore. Featuring Italrry, teasing, and a sea view. "I said, use your words," he scolded, bringing a hand down to grab at her chin and make her look up at him. His eyes were blown out already, filled with lust. "Thought you weren't a little girl anymore, hm? Or do you still want to be treated like one?" She swallowed hard. Her heart was beating harder and faster than usual and she didn't know what to say. "Well, if that's how it's gonna be then, fine. I'll treat you like the little brat you are, would you like that?" Another nod. "Words." "Yes." "Yes sir," he corrected her. "Yes sir." "Good girl," he said with a smile.

This is a SPINOFF story following Emily from my "Out of the Ordinary" series. Life was nothing but a series of interrupted plans. Some interruptions were worse than others. Like my boyfriend of three years deciding on a whim that he didn't love me anymore. Pretty much the worst interruption ever. One I never could've expected. Still, it reinforced the fact that I should always expect them in some form, and plan as best I could around them. School, work, friends, family - I liked some semblance of order to it all. And then there was Mark. I'd known him all my life, but I hadn't expected him at this point He was another interruption. A distraction. Which was good at first. But the way he made me feel... There was no way this would end well.

soulmate /ˈsəʊlmeɪt/ noun 1. a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner. What if soulmates existed, but not in the way we think they do? What if, some forces are so powerful, that even having the person you're destined to be with in close proximity caused disastrous consequences simply because you've never looked them in the eyes, or touched their skin? What if it caused one of you physical pain being so close to them without realising they were even there? Madeleine Melling has always struggled with the concept of love in general. She shouldn't - her parents have always been so very indiscreetly besotted with one another, and she always thought it would eventually rub off on her. But it just hasn't. She has relationships, one after the other, and one-by-one they leave her for her incapability at showing any kind of devotion. She does, however, have a strong passion for her work - spending hours in her private studio fashioning pottery and mosaics. Besides the platonic love she gives her parents, it's the only thing she's ever really given herself to. Harry Styles is the opposite. In an almost insufferable way, he is, as so many people have put it before, in love with the idea of love. And yet, he's never truly found it. City to city he travels, scouting not just for his job, but also for romance - a love like no other. Never one to turn down an opportunity, he takes up an offer to spend six months in the colourful city of Bristol, specifically Clifton School of Art, scouting new talent to showcase at the art gallery in London he works for. Will Bristol help him find what he's looking for?

From the first moment Nora Priestley met Harry Styles, she knew that they were never destined to be friends. Coming from two separate worlds is putting it far too lightly-considering Harry's family owned a massive real estate empire and Nora and her mother were otherwise known as the help. Working hard to get what she wanted was practically instilled in her person, therefore crossing paths with Harry at boarding school was never supposed to go further than four years of unbearable acquaintanceship. But life has a funny way of never going according to plan, and somehow in the span of growing up and falling into place, Nora and Harry seem more interwoven than ever before. Fourteen years is a long time to know another person, and even though they've spent most of that time convincing everybody else that they hate each other, there's still that little spark buried deep inside of them that threatens to ignite with each year that passes between them. A story about a girl who likes movies more than she likes people, a boy who holds the world in the palm of his hands, three cities that hold a piece of them captive in the cracks of the pavement, and fourteen years of always being just close enough, but never nearly there. banner credit to the lovely eriza
