No matter how hard he tried to change wizards and witches thoughts on creatures, befriend them, and consider that it is simply instinct; he just couldn't change anyone's mind. Sure, Dumbledore states that he likes him for his open heart... But what's that matter if it doesn't protect the creatures? Each time he enters Hogwarts it's as if he were a magnet and the creatures were stray pieces of metal laying on a table. He truly tried to stay out of trouble, he did, but nothing would push him towards suspension more then the creature named Willow.
