A backstory of Gale, one of my OCs. The story is set in a modern world with a twist of magic and enchanting. He had been living a simple, normal life for thirteen years. When he was home alone, as he was quite often, for his parents were both off working to try and keep themselves afloat, a group of kidnappers invaded his home, blindfolded him, and knocked him unconcious. When he woke up, all he was expecting for was the worst. He had been strapped in the back seat of a van, unable to move. All he could hear was whispering mumbles of people supposedly speaking in Russian. As the van came to a stop, he could hear the slams of doors opening and closing, then him being forced out of the vehicle, and pushed along into a small building. He was placed in a chair and strapped in again, where he could only hear the sound of ineffective lights flickering, and the footsteps of two or three people. When the blindfold was removed, he was under a bright light, masked 'scientists' staring at him from afar. It wasn't very long until they had surgical utensils in their hands, and had been walking towards him. He desperately tried to break through the metal restraints, but it was no use. They would begin to tear into his body. Legs, hands, shoulders, even one in his neck. It was nothing but indescribable pain. They had not even gave him anesthetics, or any kind of medicine. They did this while he was wide awake. Soon after, the scientists would force numerous metal shards, varying in sizes, in the flesh holes they had made. Soon, he'd pass out.
