What happens when one of the last freakshows comes to your town? Not only is it a grotesque event viewed for pleasure at a circus but one that harbors secrets and hidden evils behind the curtains. Scarlett didn't know what to think when she heard about the circus coming to her town; her town was small, rarely anything visited it. She never expected to be ripped from her life and forced into their society of freaks, struggling to keep their business. She wasn't and would never be a freak, especially ones that didn't know right morals from wrong ones. ___________________________________ THIS STORY CONTAINS GRAPHIC MATERIAL AND POTENTIALLY TRIGGERING CONTENT: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK (18+) I WROTE THIS WHEN I WAS 14. When Molly Heyworth comes across an eerie video on the internet, she believes it to be a hoax. It’s an early instalment to a video blog detailing the Garrison family’s home renovations. On her computer, Molly watches the couple tearing down a wall to reveal a room, where no room should exist. But what unnerves her is the strange altar the Garrisons find inside, where strange symbols on the walls and remnants of blood hint at Satanic rituals. As the weeks pass, Molly grows increasingly preoccupied by the family and their tragedies, especially with the two young boys, who are particularly plagued by the forces within the house. When the youngest goes inexplicably missing from inside the house, Molly’s interest turns to obsession. The more she unravels, the more it becomes clear that the horror has already devastated the Garrisons’ world, but for Molly the horror has only just begun.

"If they aren't pretty when they are dead, then why bother keeping the bodies in my cemetery? Just burn them. Burn all of them, and give me the charming ones." I laughed at how psychotic he sounded; or even how psychotic he was."You're young, why do you even own your own cemetery? That can't even be legal." "Why bother concerning yourself over my affairs? This cemetery-" he quickly corrected himself, "My cemetery is the most luxurious and ravishing of them all." He bent down, and began to whisper in my ear, "And I know, that you, my lamb, understand my funeral style, don't you?"
