Dr.Harleen Quinzel is a respected doctor at Arkham Asylum, well known for her intelligence and kind personality but much like everybody else in Gotham she has her secrets. When given the opportunity to 'fix' the joker she cannot help but intervene....however with her already on the brink of madness could this push her over the edge? I do not own any of Dc comics and most of these characters belong to them (more of my own will Join the story later on!)

~UNDER EDITING~ if you read this you're braver than i am This story contains mature themes, very occasional strong language, ᵃⁿᵈ ˢᵒᵐᵉ ˢᵐᵘᵗ (but you'll have to look pretty hard to find it and I'd honestly be impressed if you made it that far). It's blocked out and labelled, that way you can skip it if it isn't really your thing. The plot has grown up with me and kind of become my love child. It's pretty fragmented at the moment, but I do wholly encourage you to read through each chunk (otherwise you'll easily miss the spicy romance lol). I'm working on filling in what's missing. Of course, the beginning is the most developed part now, but I have at least majorly spruced up the remaining old chapters. I'm also working on including little guiding notes to fill you in on missing details and arcs that don't quite line up yet. Other than that, I hope you'll enjoy this seriously-toned fanfic that tries not to take itself too seriously. Together with a chosen team they could travel the Unseen Worlds that surround the physical world, into the past, following a clue written down in ancient Egypt, and then walk the Trail of Angels, and find the hidden mystery before the dark creatures do.
