Sixteen-year-old Jenna's mother recently started dating a man named Chris. But when her mother isn't in the room or at home, Chris abuses her. Both emotionally and physically, he hurts Jenna. While she wants the abuse to stop, it's the first time Jenna has seen her mother this happy since her real father passed away six years earlier. Unknown though to both Jenna and Chris, there's a witness, who is quite unlike any other human on this earth.
