Somewhere between memory and forgetting.
There are places that remember us long after we have forgotten them.
When architectural photographer Lena arrives at the Grand Meridian Hotel in Bangkok, she expects nothing more than a temporary stay and a restoration project. An old hotel, a collection of forgotten rooms, and a few weeks spent documenting what time has left behind.
But something about the Grand Meridian feels strangely familiar.
The corridors. The rain against the windows. The scent of white flowers lingering in empty rooms.
And then, at exactly 4:04 in the morning, someone knocks on her door.
Her name is Miu.
She is beautiful, mysterious, and speaks to Lena with the familiarity of someone who has known her for years.
"You're late," she says.
Lena doesn't remember meeting her.
Miu seems to have expected that.
When Lena discovers a brass key engraved with the number 404, she begins uncovering the hotel's forgotten history - one involving a sealed floor, an incident twelve years ago, and two women whose names have almost disappeared from its records.
But some memories refuse to stay buried.
And some people are impossible to forget, even when you no longer remember loving them.
A story about lost time, unfinished promises, and finding your way back to the person who once felt like home.
Because sometimes, the most difficult part of falling in love isn't remembering them.
It's choosing to love them again.
