"Aren't you at least a little bit jealous?" a voice chimed in, leaning over the back of Minhee's chair as a phone looped a video behind her.
"Seriously, other girls would be throwing huge tantrums," another groaned. "And you're our actual girlfriend, and you're just sitting there, unbothered while we flirt with half the free world."
Minhee didn't even look up from her laptop, her fingers maintaining a steady, merciless clack against the keys. "I trust you. You know where the line is."
"That's it?" a fourth pressed, totally incredulous. "Are you secretly plotting our murder? Are you mad?"
"I'm not mad," Minhee deadpanned, finally halting her typing with a heavy sigh. "I'm just busy. My schedule's hectic this week."
A sixth member didn't hesitate to shove a phone right into her face. "Look at this short, then. Niki's literally letting fans touch him everywhere and he's acting like a golden retriever winning a blue-ribbon contest."
Minhee glanced at the screen, where Niki was soaking up the crowd's adoring hands with a disgustingly cocky grin, rolled her eyes so hard it looked painful, and went right back to her spreadsheet. "Please. That's just Niki being cocky like usual."
"Aren't you suspicious at all?" Niki challenged, stepping directly into her line of sight with a punchable smirk. "Not even a tiny bit?"
Minhee closed her laptop shut. She stood up, smoothly closing the distance until she was right in his personal space, and caught his chin between two fingers.
"Why are you pushing so hard?" she murmured, her voice dripping with dry amusement. "It's almost like you want me to lose my mind over you."
Niki scoffed, desperately fighting a grin as his ego visibly inflated. "You should be. It's basic human nature."
"Why should I be?" Minhee deadpanned, giving his chin a light, dismissive shove as she dropped her hand. "It's not like his fans are sleeping in our bed every night."
