Her father Beaumont Knoxx, also known to many in North Denver as Chief Knoxx, is the Chief of police, and a heavily respected figure due to his great leadership, charm, and commitment to the community. She knows much more about her father than she should. Although, no one would believe her no matter who she told. Therefore, Marilyn avoids her father whenever she can by constantly being out of the house and active. Everyday she lives in pain, hidden behind smiles and kind acts. Elliot is the only thing in this hellhole keeping her sane, keeping her here. Marilyn knows about his homelife. She knows is a place worse than hell itself for him. So, she aspires to help as many people as she can, especially victims, something that her father is great at faking. Her father is not the man others think he is. ITS ALL A MASK
