Park Jimin spent his whole life being told what he can't do.
Motocross is too dangerous. Racing is too dangerous. And as long as he lived under his parent's roof, the answer will always be no. So Jimin does the only thing he can think of.
He leaves.
With nowhere to go, he ends up at his best friend of 13 years, Jungkook's home, and somehow, that also means living under the same roof as Min Yoongi: Jungkook's infuriating older brother, legendary motocross rider, reluctant trainer, professional asshole, and the last person Jimin wants telling him what to do.
Unfortunately, Yoongi is also the one person capable of turning Jimin's dream into something real.
Training him was supposed to be simple. Teach him to ride dirt. Teach him to take a jump. Teach him how to fall without breaking himself.
Falling for each other was never part of the lesson.
Jimin is stubborn, reckless, and determined to prove he belongs on that track. Yoongi is sarcastic, cold, an asshole, impossible to impress, and far too good at getting under Jimin's skin.
Yoongi thinks Jimin is reckless. Jimin thinks Yoongi is insufferable.
Every argument pushes them closer. Every touch lasts a little too long. And somewhere between six a.m. training sessions, bruises knees, screaming engines and stolen glances behind raised visors, hatred starts looking dangerously like something else.
Yoongi knows when to slow down. Jimin has spent his whole life waiting for the chance to speed up.
And when wanting each other becomes more dangerous than any jump they could take, there's only one thing left to do.
Fuck the brakes.
"Keep your eyes on the track kid."
"Maybe stop giving me something better to look."
