Izuku Midoriya è un ragazzo riservato che trova rifugio nella musica. Quando un progetto scolastico li costringe a collaborare, tra i due nasce un rapporto fatto di scontri continui. Col tempo, però, iniziano a riconoscere nell'altro lo stesso dolore che cercano disperatamente di nascondere. Izuku and Katsuki have been best friends forever. Growing up together thanks to their mothers' close friendship, who work at the same bakery, they've ended up sharing practically every stage of their lives. Now, in their second year of college, their relationship seems stronger than ever. Until Izuku starts receiving anonymous messages from someone who seems to know him very well. At first, he dismisses them as just a harmless pastime, but the mysterious sender slowly manages to insinuate himself into his daily life, showing him an extremely sweet and vulnerable side that no one seems to know. Izuku then decides to find out who it is, unknowingly involving Katsuki in his investigation. Katsuki, however, isn't the only one who knows about the existence of those messages. When some of the people around Izuku start behaving strangely, Izuku begins to suspect that the anonymous number may be about something more than a simple crush. Meanwhile, Katsuki faces a dilemma: continue to be the person Izuku has known his whole life or allow him to see the part of himself he has always hidden.

Però ultimamente girano voci che Izuku sia morto senza sapere perché. All Might vorrebbe dire la verità, ma ha promesso a Izuku che non avrebbe fatto parola a nessuno, soprattutto a Katsuki Bakugo. Però Katsuki non ne vuole proprio sapere, o almeno questo è la maschera che mostra in giro. Da quando Izuku è scomparso, il suo comportamento non ha fatto altro che peggiorare diventando incontrollabile e violento. Il senso di colpa, il rimorso e il panico di non vederlo più lo tormentano giorno e notte senza sosta. È passato un anno ormai dalla scomparsa di Izuku.
