Smut warning! From the perspective of my Tav, Lenore Leyette, this book takes place after the events of Baldur's Gate 3. A traumatized and anxious librarian finds a new, improved job at Blackstaff Academy's library. Our beloved Gale Dekarios is a professor at Blackstaff Academy, finding himself increasingly distracted by the librarian. What shenanigans will they pursue together? Heads up: I've not finished my first playthrough and am still in act two with my main Tav, who is not Lenore. There will possibly be crossovers of these two characters, and other Tav's of mine, despite me having multiple campaigns where each of them gets snatched by the illithids separately and has separate outcomes for many different things. Some details of all my cannons per character will be smudged for sake of the story, meaning the details of act two and beyond will not be accurate to Baldur's Gate 3 as you know it as a completed game until I come back to flesh them out after my playthrough ends.

After the Grove has been saved and Halsin has returned, Deia and the companions allowed themselves to enjoy the victory with a big celebration. What Deia didn't yet realize, however, is that this evening will be significant for more reasons than one. One of these reasons is no other than Gale. (This is one chapter from the upcoming novel that I am working on. It is dedicated to Baldur's Gate 3 with a primary focus on Gale and Deia.)

Both his former explosivity and his reputation as a hero of the Gate kept his students under control and the staff certain of his credibility. But when the new herbalist supplying the Academy finds him less than savory upon introduction, Gale attempts to fix his impression with varying degrees of success. This story follows Olivier (oh-liv-ee-ae), a Quarter-Elf visiting Waterdeep after the events of BG3. She has a strange magic over which she has little control. She ran away from home in search of answers and freedom. And a kindly wizard helps her find her way.
