When Sheng Qinghe, the only daughter of the Duke of Anding, lost both of her parents at the age of six, her world crumbled overnight. Entrusted to her late mother's dearest friend, Madam Chen, she was brought into the prestigious Earl Su household and raised as one of their own. Grateful for the kindness she received, Qinghe spent years suppressing her own ambitions, enduring humiliation, and devoting her heart to Madam Chen's son, Su Linhe, believing that love and loyalty would one day earn her happiness. Instead, they became the chains that ruined her life. Madam Chen, trapped in a cold and unhappy marriage, died with countless regrets. The Earl Su family repaid Qinghe's devotion with manipulation, betrayal, and cruelty, forcing her into a loveless marriage before discarding her like a pawn once she had outlived her usefulness. By the time she uncovered the truth behind the schemes that had destroyed everyone she cherished, it was already too late. She met a tragic end, her blood staining the very household she had once called home. But fate grants her an impossible miracle. Ten years before her death, sixteen-year-old Sheng Qinghe opens her eyes once more. This time, she awakens before every tragedy unfolds-before Madam Chen's spirit is broken, before she falls hopelessly in love with Su Linhe, and before the Earl Su family can weave their web around her. Armed with memories of the future, Qinghe vows never to repeat the mistakes of her previous life. She will expose every hidden conspiracy, reclaim the Duke of Anding's legacy, and tear apart the Su family's carefully crafted reputation piece by piece. Most importantly, she will save the woman who had once loved her like a daughter, helping Madam Chen break free from her miserable marriage long before it destroys her.

Illara had trained all her life for this moment. She had been chosen - from all eligible women throughout the three kingdoms - to be presented to the dragon. Her noble sacrifice would ensure the safety of her lands for a full year. She glowed with pride at the thought. And any moment now the massive dragon would come soaring over the mountains, his massive strength and awesome power - What was this? Along a rocky pass, moving with the persistence of a love-struck cow, was something metallic. Something shiny. Her heart thundered with panic as the object drew closer and resolved into a shape. For she knew it could ruin everything. It could cause the destruction of all she held dear. It was a knight. * * * Half of all proceeds of the Dragon novelettes benefit battered women's shelters. While this first book is non-explicit, due to the strong sexual content and adult situations in future books, this romantic suspense series is recommended for readers aged 17+. The series is structured for readers to read along as I write them to offer feedback and suggestions on the complex storyline. If you're the style of reader who would prefer to wait until the entire series is finished before you tackle it, that is fine! Simply wait until the series is complete and I'll offer the boxed set. I do that with all of my books. The reason I publish as I write is that I don't write full time and it can sometimes take months for me to finish up a storyline. There are readers who don't want to wait - who would rather read along as I go and stay engaged in the process. That way they can provide feedback and suggestions on the storyline. Whichever way works well for you, I provide an option. I'd love to hear from you at my website at OpheliaSikes.com.

Nine years ago, the Reaving took almost every adult Link bearer in the world. The children who survived grew up in overcrowded refuges, taking adult jobs at ten, making it up as they went. Now they're old enough to carry Links of their own. This generation carries more than any in recorded history. Every continent has produced a Legendary simultaneously. It has never happened before. Someone noticed. Someone started planning before the Reaving even ended. Lux and Nox Eclypse both have Legendary Links. The world knows about one of them. At her awakening ceremony, Lux's Hydra filled the altar and the city celebrated for three days. Nox stepped up after and the altar barely flickered. A pale snake. Barely worth recording. The stone cracked when he stepped off it. Nobody looked at the crack. At the Grand Academy of Links, Lux carries the future of Greece on her shoulders. Nox walks one step behind, watches everything, and waits. They've split it this way since they were twelve. She takes the light. He takes everything else. Outside Greece, the Dragon is already moving.

Watty 2026 Applicant In a world carved by crusade, betrayal, and fragile miracles, A Saga of Forsaken Banners follows the warriors and wanderers who bleed beneath the weight of destiny - and the brothers whose choices will break a kingdom. The tale opens in blood and mud. Asger Tokeson, a nineteen‑year‑old routier, crawls from the ashes of a slaughter he was never meant to survive. A boy refuses to leave him - the first flicker of grace in a life hammered into brutality. From that moment, Asger's reluctant pilgrimage east winds through shattered loyalties, hard‑won fellowship, and the slow, painful unmaking of the man the world forged from him. Far from those ruined fields, Acre trembles. King Baldwin IV - brilliant, young, and dying - holds the Holy Land together with a will stronger than his failing body. Sibylla stands between duty and destiny. And beneath the palace stones, something coils: Templars shifting in silence, informants vanishing, letters diverted, a clasp passed between men like a whispered oath. Into this shadow steps Hemming - Asger's elder brother, a Templar shaped by pride, shame, and the belief that glory belongs only to those who seize it. He is the kingdom's blade... and its fracture. A massacre on the road to Acre exposes a conspiracy reaching from palace servants to the leper king's inner circle. As Jerusalem falters and Acre darkens, the brothers must choose what binds them: blood, oath, or survival. One seeks redemption. One seeks destiny. Both will be broken.
