It's been five years since Dawnette and Michael last seen each other in 1986. The last time they were together, it ended on a bad note leaving a poor Dawnette heartbroken and Michael engaged to a woman she never knew about. After having her son, Kyan a few months later, she decided to pursue her career as a songwriter and producer. Haven't writing any hits for anyone yet, she works and helps alongside with close friend Teddy Riley who has written and produced for numerous of artists. But, all of that will change when an unexpected phone call from someone is made to Teddy to help write and produce their next album.
