"So... I failed," I whispered. He laughed softly. "Princess, you scored 88%. That's huge." "I worked so hard," my voice broke. "For Baba... and for you." He cupped my face gently. "And we are PROUD of you," he said firmly. "Percentages don't define you. Your effort does." Tears spilled. "But... your kiss," I sobbed. "I wanted it so badly." He sighed, amused and soft at the same time, then sat on the bed and curly his finger to call me towards him, "Come here." Make me stand in front of him. "You studied for a kiss?" he teased. I nodded miserably. He laughed. "You're unbelievable." I sniffed. "You're mean." He wiped my tears with his thumb. "My bad luck! Hump ! Let go," I wip my nose with my hoodie sleeve "my ice cream must be waiting," I say while pouting makes him chuckled. I was just about to pull away when I felt something warm and soft press against my lips, making me freeze. My breath hitched as I realized-Amar had just kissed me. "The servants are still awake downstairs. My wife is just down the hall." "You shouldn't have come up here tonight," I say, my voice low, a deep baritone that carries a sharp, aristocratic edge. "H-Hukum... main toh bas..." I choked out, a hot tear spilling over my lashes as my hands tightly fisted into the simple fabric of my faded cotton tunic (poshak). I looked up into his cruel, handsome face, completely trapped in the golden cage of his desires. (Hukum... I was just...) __________________________________ I want to warn everyone right at the start: this story is extremely dark and contains a lot of disturbing content. If this isn't your cup of tea, please don't read it. I don't want any negative comments, as I have already given you fair warning.

"Do you regret kissing me, Ishika?" His voice dropped-dark, low, and possessive enough to steal the air from my lungs. My entire body froze. Not because I didn't know the answer- But because I did. My breath hitched, sharp and aching. Regret? God. If only he knew what that kiss did to me. His grip didn't loosen. His fingers dug gently into my wrist, grounding me to him, to the heat of his body pressed against my back. I could feel every inch of him-dangerous, intoxicating, magnetic. "Ishika," he rasped again, each syllable laced with something desperate. Something real. "Do. You. Regret. It?" I should lie. Say it meant nothing. That it was a mistake. But my heart? It was screaming. Screaming for him. No. No, I didn't regret it. I couldn't. If I had, I wouldn't still feel his taste on my lips. I wouldn't still be burning from the ghost of his touch. I wouldn't still be aching for more. "We wouldn't be kissing for so long...and still not want to let go...if I regretted that," I whispered-my voice trembling, My voice trembled. "If I regretted it, Veer..." I whispered, "...I wouldn't be standing here, craving your mouth on mine again." And that's it- I felt the pull.
