Alice Miller was many things. But a liar was not one. 𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙩, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙚, 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 If you told Alice that agreeing to babysit her 5-year-old sister's friend when she was 9 years old would lead to her getting involved in some huge, multi-dimensional, government cover-up, INSANELY dangerous event? She'd believe you. Now, if you tell her it would lead to her becoming friends with Steve Harrington, she'd ask if you were on drugs. Alice Miller and her little sister, Dawn, essentially grew up with the Byers. Both of the Millers, being the same age as the two Byers boys, made it just sense. While Alice never fit in, it was okay. Because at least she had her best friend. Until his little brother went missing, and her life went from driving her sister's friends around, listening to music, and avoiding popular kids, to building traps and hiding from monsters from another world.
