This is a story loosely based on the lore of Star Stable Online: a online horse game. Hayden was brand new to Silverglade Equestrian Center, being from the port city of Fort Pinta. Full of nerves, he finds himself meeting one of the owners of the barn, Ava Towerflower. Her family was very well known, owning Jorvik Stables and being a big part of the Jorvik Show Committee. This story starts with these two already knowing each other. It starts when Hayden tries Ava's horse, Polo, to possibly buy. I wrote this story in segment like parts, so the POV will change at scene changes. Don't worry, I try my best to give away who you're reading. The dark riders haven't been seen in awhile and it is guessed they are recuperating. But Linda can sense that change is coming to Jorvik, she doesn't know how or when, but little do they know that it will shake all their worlds. A new girl has come to the Island, and after she witnesses the powers of the soul riders, it turns out she isn't as normal as they all thought she was. A swim gone wrong causes my twin sister to begin to fear the water. She barely even touches it. I went missing when it happened, everyone thinks I drowned, and died. I did drown, or rather I started to, but then a bright light shown down on me during a full moon and turned me into a mermaid, one drop and 10 secs later a tail. I love it! I've always wanted to be a mermaid, our little sister was barely just born, I didn't know how to face my family, so I guess I just have lived in the ocean. I have all the girls powers, this was no accident, this is fate. This is amazing!

Avery never expected to be a mermaid. Mermaids are a myth...or so she thought. After drinking her mother's project with jelly-like chemicals, whenever Avery touches water, she gets tail in return. Things go bad to worse as the new girl on the street sees Avery's tail. Avery must survive with her new powers, and try to get past her sneaky sister, Sammy, and the new girl's-Katie's-brother, Jake.
