Late September 1998, Pennsylvania.
Seventeen-year-old Raquel "Rue" Beaumont has spent her entire life haunted by psychic visions that never arrive in time to stop disaster. Hoping to leave the past behind, she reluctantly joins her classmates from Blackwood Academy on a camping trip deep in the Pennsylvania wilderness. When terrifying visions warn her that something in the forest is watching them, Rue begs everyone to leave. No one believes her.
The woods belong to sixteen-year-old Fraser and his reclusive family, who have spent generations protecting their secluded home from trespassers. Despite years of ignored warnings, disappearing property, and unwanted visitors, they're willing to do whatever it takes to save tourists - even if it means spilling blood.
Separated from her classmates after the camp descends into chaos, Rue expects the Delacroix family to make her their next victim. Instead, Fraser offers her a deal. His family needs someone to retrieve something they cannot safely recover themselves, and Rue is the only person left alive who can do it.
Forced into an uneasy alliance, Rue and Fraser venture deeper into the Appalachian wilderness, where forgotten folklore, ancient magic, and buried secrets reveal that the forest is far older-and far hungrier-than either of them imagined. As distrust slowly gives way to a tender friendship, Rue must decide whether the boy she was taught to fear is truly the monster...or whether the greatest danger has been hiding beneath the trees all along.
Narrated by the Devil himself, All the Devils in the Pines is a supernatural folk-horror about destiny, family, and the terrifying cost of surviving a place that never wanted to be found.
