Lauren Dela Vega and her five college friends-Aela, Mallori, Penelope, Quinn, and Zarina-go to her grandparents' vacation villa in Makati after their graduation. Against the wishes of Mallori and Penelope, Lauren invites an online friend she made through Wattpad-Mina Watson, a Filipino-American promising author who happens to be visiting from Philadelphia.
