KING OF 77; MASSACRE OF GODS
The world has been silent for ten years. Since the Battle of Moghaneh, King Timur has ruled with fear, his dark goddess-queen at his side, and even the name of his dead father is forbidden.
Ben, Timur's nineteen-year-old son, was exiled as a child to a remote Castle of Roses, where he found a family he was willing to die for. Then a forged letter lured him onto a road of arrows. By the time he crawled home, everything he loved lay in ashes.
A mysterious voice offers him a sword that can kill gods. The price: every time he draws it, it devours a memory. A face. A name. A love.
Now, Ben walks toward the gods who destroyed his home, carrying a dried rose, a wooden whistle, and a half-finished cloak he can no longer explain. Each victory empties him a little more. And an invisible, warm hand rests on his shoulder-a presence he can't remember, and perhaps shouldn't trust.
