(This book is awful in all regards, from plot to how characters are written, and just full of cringe. I wasn't all that great of a writer so please keep that in mind... The only reason this book is staying up is because every time I take it down I get messages asking for it back.) Maybe that's it. We eventually go numb; because you can't break a heart that's already broken. Maxwell Augustus; A boy who has seen nothing but hatred, yet some how he's filled with so much love. Covered in scars - both physical and mental - and mastered the art of concealing his violet painted skin. Violent father, violent brother, nightmare uncle, little sister, and unwanted feelings for his best friend. What could go wrong? Answer: Just about everything.

Marco grew up believing cruelty was love, every bruise disguised as care, every lie packaged as truth. He found himself at a police station and got a DNA test. The results revealed more than bloodlines, they uncovered five brothers. Brothers he was never meant to find. Brothers, someone had kept from him for a reason. This is my first story, so I apologize if it's not good. Also, English is not my first language. Read the warnings!!! Slow updates! (I also edited the story, so if some comments don't make sense, it's because I changed some things, but most of it is the same. The thing I changed most was the writing.) Happy reading!! (づ˶•༝•˶)づ♡

"People think silence means there's nothing inside you. But silence is where I hide everything I can't survive saying out loud." Fourteen-year-old Aluna Amari has only ever trusted one person: her father, who raised her alone after her mother abandoned her. But when he's diagnosed with cancer, Aluna is forced to move in with the mother she hasn't spoken to in years. What she doesn't expect is that her mother is engaged to Andrei Petrov-a cold, feared Russian mafia boss-and that his home comes with six ruthless sons who see Aluna as nothing but an unwanted inconvenience. A silent little "freak" their father's fiancée brought into their world. Another thing about Aluna is that she is selectively mute, trapped in a house full of danger, secrets, and people who don't want her there. And as her father's medical bills pile up, she realizes she may be the only one who can save him. The only voice she has left... is music. Because hidden behind her silence is something no one expects: Aluna is a musical prodigy-and music is the only language that's ever made her feel alive. It's her escape. Her weapon. Her prayer. And in a world ruled by violence, power, and secrets... the quietest girl in the room may be the one who changes everything.

14-year-old Aria is in the foster system and has what most people like to call "an attitude problem." In her eyes, it's not an 'attitude'-it's survival. Sarcasm is her shield, silence is her weapon, and if she rolls her eyes hard enough, maybe no one will notice the way her hands shake when doors slam too loud. She's been with her current foster family for the past five years, and their abuse has been the worst of them all. The kind that hides behind locked doors and perfect smiles for the neighbors. The kind that teaches you not to flinch in public, but never lets your bruises fade in private. ♬⋆.˚ Aria doesn't cry anymore-she learned young that tears only made them angrier. Instead, she grits her teeth, sharpens her tongue, and waits for the day she can get out. Her social workers call her "difficult." Teachers call her "disruptive." But really, she's just a girl with scars people don't bother to see, carrying secrets she's too smart to share. What no one knows -not even Aria- is that the blood running through her veins carries a legacy far darker and more powerful than anything this foster family could imagine. A legacy that comes with 5 brothers who would quite literally burn the world for her

My family hated me. The world had become a terrifying place and the wounds I was trying desperately to hide weren't healing. The longer I was away from my prison the more desperate I became to stay. Killian She crashed into my world in a flurry of chaos that had no place surrounding her warmth.
