The Autobots find an energon mine, however, so do the Decepticons. Due to an attack from the Decepticons' warship, the Ground Bridge overloads, enabling Rachet to bridge Team Prime back to base. And, to complicate things more, the kids, Jack Darby, Rafael Esquivel, and Mako Nakadai have come with the Autobots. Now damaged from the ambush, Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, must get himself and the kids back to base safely. Along the way, he ends up strengthening the bond with the children in different ways he expected as they learn more about himself. But of course, the Decepticons are on the lookout for Prime and his charges...

Then during the attempt to stop The Space Bridge, in the midst of the battle, Bumblebee gets kidnapped and taken. For Stellar Cycles, Bumblebee goes through the worst. Being a prisoner, training to fight & kill, forced to move on from all he once knew and had, do as he's told, & become a Con. The only thing Bee wanted was to find value in himself, to survive, to truly see if his former team moved on in life without him.
