It was dark out. It was dangerous, and there was a terrified victim who needed saving every time he turned around. There was no money, and there was fame, no cameras. Just the whispers, the rumors, the conspiracies. Which meant, of course, that there were no heroes. Izuku was alone. Really, he'd been alone for years, ever since he learned he had no quirk. Now, though, he couldn't bring himself to follow after Bakugo's back, bravely proclaiming his goal to the world and facing the scorn with determination. Because he knew now, for an inescapable fact, that he didn't want to be a hero. Heroism, after all, is what got his mother killed. The event awakened something in him, something that might have been a quirk. His obsession with quirk analysis and heroes, after all, was not normal. But, heroism as a profession had its limits. All he had ever wanted was to save people, help them however he can. And sometimes, he'd found, the law just got in the way. He didn't hate the laws, or the police force that enforced it, but he now understood very personally there was no "one size fits all" set of rules when it came to suffering. In name, he supposed, he'd become a villain. He found he didn't care. Because in practice, he saved lives, he stopped the suffering of those who needed him, and he was there when no one else could be. And that's what makes a hero, no matter what anyone else tells him.

I think if poker has taught humanity how to build a strategy from the cards we've been given. Then is it totally impossible to learn from it how to turn a bad hand into a royal flush. Lucky I always had a poker face to help me stack the deck in my favor. (hehe I'm not giving anything away with this story) (I don't own any of the photos or MHA)

[beware, i wrote this when i was 14-15, logic may disappear in some moments] Izuku Midoriya, a shy, timid boy with a yet happy and cheerful personality. Karma, the man that could make the devil shudder in fear. _____________________________________________________________________________________ After realising that society saw everything in only black and white; it's either you are a Villain, a Hero or nothing, Izuku's dream of becoming a Hero slowly dissolved. Instead, he wanted to change the world. To him, it didn't matter who the person was. If they needed help, they got help. If they did something bad, they suffered the consequences. Simple. That way, he earned himself the name 'Karma'. Karma was a man, that didn't hesitate to kill or hurt if it meant to avenge the dead or protect civilians. Many, especially Heroes, had twisted opinions on him, seeing that he was still a killer to the law. Yet, he managed to change their options when the USJ attack occurred. Still, there were a lot that wanted to arrest and charge him for murder, breaking the law and god knows what. But there were also those, who took a slight liking in the Vigilante. Later on, Karma would prove himself even more. He would find out informations about the Villains and hand them to the Heroes. Some were highly suspicious as to how he found those informations. But what do you do, when suddenly said Vigilante turns up on your doorstep, bleeding furiously and slowly losing consciousness? You take care of him, of course! Or at leat that's, what Aizawa does. However, what do you do, when you find out that the famous Vigilante is no older than sixteen? When he is just a kid? Yeah, Aizawa doesn't know either. *not my art the google gods gifted it to me, if it's your art and if you want me to take it down i will* Izuku Midoriya, the quirkless nobody who vanished years ago. He was hardly missed, if you were to ask his old neighbors or classmates who he was they would probably would ask why you cared about that 'useless deku'. Or perhaps they wouldn't even remember the little boy with whose smile always lit up a room. Well it used to that is. No one remembered him, so no one cared when he slipped away into the night after years of being mistreated by society. Itsuki, the night vigilante, the unofficial symbol of peace for both villains and heroes alike. He seemed to be everywhere always protecting and saving the people who failed to save him. Itsuki a shadow no one saw, a savior to the society who broke him. Why is it that the best of us are treated the worse? Why are some saved, but others forgotten? How could someone 'useless' become one of the best?

Reality is never as good as it seems. It's stained with discrimination, just because you're the tiniest bit different. Stains can never be removed. They'll linger there, forever, for all of eternity. But who said that was a bad thing?
