Khloe Lakewoods life isn't ordinary. It's the opposite. She has six older and overprotective brothers. How does she survive? She spent the start of her high school going to a completely separate school to the rest of her brothers, except her twin because she wanted to go to the same school as her best friend. However they discovered her bestfriend wasn't the best influence and now she's forced to move to another school. With all her brothers. This is a rough and unedited draft. Expect mistakes. But I enjoy writing it. [Trigger warning - there are some triggering topics mentioned that may not be appropriate for some readers. Mental health issues. Jayden, the youngest boy, who is the same age as her, despises her the most. Throughout the book, his backstory, along with many other dark secrets will be figured out. Author's Note:
I wrote this book when I was a teenager, during a time when I was working through a lot of intense feelings and experiences in my own life. The story reflects that period of my imagination and emotional processing. Some of the content involves abuse, bullying, and mental health struggles, and it may be difficult or triggering for some readers. I've shared this story because it helped me feel seen and understood when I needed it most, and I hope it can offer some sense of connection or comfort to others as well. Please take care of yourself while reading.

Fifteen-year-old Ainsley Myers doesn't look like someone who's afraid. She's quiet, loud when needed to be, flat, and sarcastic. The kind of girl who fills silence with humor and defiance, who keeps people laughing just far enough away that they never get too close. Where her twin sister Athena learned to move gently through the world, Ainsley learned to hit it first, using noise, wit, and distance as armor. Athena was protected. Ainsley was not. Athena grew up kind, soft-spoken, and trusting, never fully knowing the depth of what her sister endured, only sensing that something was wrong. Ainsley never told her. Not because she didn't love her, but because she didn't know how to explain it. Because the worst parts didn't feel explainable. Because silence felt safer than truth. When their current foster dad is arrested, everything they believe about their lives collapses. They weren't abandoned. They were stolen. Waiting for them is a family that never stopped searching: a father who left space at the table, brothers raised on stories and hope, and a home built on patience instead of punishment. For Athena, the return feels like a chance to finally breathe. For Ainsley, it feels like danger. Because sarcasm doesn't survive gentleness. Armor doesn't work in a house built on patience. And distance becomes impossible in a family that refuses to give up on you. As Athena begins to settle into safety, Ainsley resists closeness with jokes, walls, and emotional deflection. But the longer this family stays, the harder it becomes to pretend she doesn't care. The harder it becomes to keep fighting a world that no longer looks like a threat. Surrounded by people who don't demand, don't push, and don't leave, Ainsley must face the one truth she's spent her life outrunning: That maybe she doesn't have to be loud to be safe. That maybe she doesn't have to be sharp to survive. And that love doesn't have to hurt to be real.

Marco grew up believing cruelty was love, every bruise disguised as care, every lie packaged as truth. He found himself at a police station and got a DNA test. The results revealed more than bloodlines, they uncovered five brothers. Brothers he was never meant to find. Brothers, someone had kept from him for a reason. This is my first story, so I apologize if it's not good. Also, English is not my first language. Read the warnings!!! Slow updates! (I also edited the story, so if some comments don't make sense, it's because I changed some things, but most of it is the same. The thing I changed most was the writing.) Happy reading!! (づ˶•༝•˶)づ♡

Jasper is a screwed up kid, yet no one cares enough to find out why. Bruises hide his arms and alcohol stains the walls of his house, but he pushes forward because it's the only thing left for him to do. His days are spent in and out of the school psychologist's office, while his nights are spent in fear of his father. His guitar and the secluded spot by the train tracks where he likes to play are the only saving graces in the hell that is his life. No one disrupted this normal routine until Callie came. Callie is far from screwed up; she doesn't have family issues and doesn't understand the first thing about Jasper's world. Her house is filled with answered prayers and smiles of people who love each other. Her arms are clear and her head is full of optimism that Jasper doesn't buy for a second. She never second guessed her sunny disposition on life until she stumbled upon a boy and his guitar down by the train tracks. Callie and Jasper weren't supposed to cross paths. She wasn't supposed to care and he wasn't supposed to let her get under his skin, but then again opposites weren't supposed to attract either. Callie saw the good in him where most people thought there was none ; she was captivated by Jasper because he made her question everything she knew about the world. She thought it would be easy to show him that there was still good left in the world, that there was more beyond all the bad he'd become accustomed to but sometimes it takes more than one girl's overly optimistic persistence to pull a person out of the hell they've been living in. ~~~~~ -Highest Ranking: #8 in spiritual, 10/25/17 ; #1 in Christianity, 2019 -Wattpad Featured Novel: 10/19/17
