The Age of Dragons is over. King Aesar, Dragonlord of the kingdom of Dracariya, had been overthrown by the treacherous Lord Malekar. Dracariya lies under the shadow of the Usurper's tyrannical regime, which ruthlessly crushes rebellion. Very few oppose him. But not none. Vengelis, the fifteen-year old bandit/idealist, strives for change. Change for the better. Aided by a gang of misfits, they work in shadows to serve the light. They fight the regime to fuel a hope for peace. In the North, the last Dragonlord, Prince Vaesar and his dragon Acturis grows and trains in a distant outpost. An army of rebels serve the exiled prince, awaiting the day when they march on Dracariya. Far in the East, a dark Empire rises, built in steel and fire. And It does what all empires do: Burn and conquer. As the factions close in for a fiery confrontation, as the world dissolves into anarchy, all must choose sides, or be swept away in the deluge. The Dark Ages has begun. It shall not end bloodlessly.
