"I like you," he said with a serious expression. "I don't even know what I'm supposed to do about it, but I really do like you."
"I'm sorry," I said softly. "But I don't feel that way about you. Please give up on me."

"Maybe you just didn't make enough merit in your past life, having someone like me fall for you. Deal with it, because no matter what, I'm not backing down."

I sighed to myself repeatedly. Ever since he confessed his love to me, my life had never been peaceful again. If anyone else had been rejected that bluntly, they probably would have given up by now. But not him. He was stubborn, refused to listen to anyone, and was self-centered to the core.
