Cordelia Nott had always known the importance of three things: blood, loyalty, and the name she carried. Born into one of the oldest pure-blood families in the wizarding world, Cora was raised alongside her twin brother, Theodore, beneath the expectations of a father who had already decided what their lives would become. At eleven, she arrived at Hogwarts knowing exactly where she belonged. Slytherin. What she didn't expect was Harry Potter. A friendship that should never have existed becomes the first of many choices that pull Cora beyond the world she was raised to understand. As the years pass, childhood rivalries become friendships, friendships become something more, and the lines between family, loyalty, and love begin to blur. But while Hogwarts changes around her, darkness is growing beyond its walls-and the Nott name is far more entangled in it than Cora wants to believe. With a war approaching and the people she loves standing on opposing sides of it, Cora must decide how much of her life will be determined by the blood in her veins... and how much will be hers to choose. Because some ties are inherited. Others are forged. And some are worth breaking.

~ "The trolley passed by her compartment ages ago," Eli huffed, referring to the raven-haired girl who had chortled her way back down the train corridor. "Isn't she supposed to be a Seeker? Her reaction time is shocking." "Maybe she ate all her sweets and was still hungry," Ron chimed in, his bubble gum bursting with a loud Pop! "Please," Eli scoffed. "She probably ran three compartments down to use her tragic pasty emergency as a reason to bat her eyelashes at the Boy Who Lived." "Someone's jealous," Ron remarked, dodging a Fizzing Whisbee that was thrown at his head. In which the boy who lived falls for a girl with a darker past than his own. ~ The Prisoner of Azkaban: Completed The Goblet of Fire: Completed Order of the Phoenix: In Progress Harry Potter x Fem!OC
