The year is 2042. Political party known as "Liberty City" passes a new federal law, legalizing all federal crime across the United States for a time period of 1 week, effectively throwing the whole country into a nation-wide purge. 35 year-old SWAT officer Marcus Burnham is tasked with searching a family residence, minutes before the purge.
