This is technically an AU of which Tanjiro came home a little earlier that day. Part of him wished he'd been late, but it was too late as the monster before him was ruthless. He tore the family apart, killing all. All Giyuu could do was watch in defeat until his turn came. He knew death only waited. This was his end. Or so he thought. Turns out, the world had other plans for him. Plans that revolved around a certain maroon haired boy who would be the turning point in the future.

Apparently this would help them all when keeping safe during missions and having a good source of food and health treatment.
