After Finnick had turned 12, and Peeta was 5 years old, president Snow had sent them to two different districts after being open about their love for each other. Peeta was sent to District 12, while Finnick was sent to District 4, where he quickly found his talent in fighting with sea weapons, and tie knots. Lucky for him he was handsome.. He was sent in the Games when he was 14, probably because Snow had chosen him. Finnick won, and his body was sold. Whenever his body was sold, he kept thinking of Peeta going through it. And the next 9 years he was hoping for Peeta not to be reaped. Unfortunately he was. He survived.
