A completely unbiased review of Into the Dragonrealm - by me, Gran.
Ever dreamed of entering a world of dragons? I did too.
Turns out it's mostly chaos, trauma, and moral lectures from a broody lizard with resting judgment face.
Is this epic fantasy? A deep dive into trauma and culture clash?
Or just the story of a noble runaway who drives his reluctant mentor insane?
Spoiler: all of the above ^_^
I'm Gran. Idealist. Escapist. Walking disaster.
I wanted to change the world. What I got was Grynoth - emotionally constipated, magically overqualified, and somehow responsible for keeping me alive.
I thought this would be fun. A few spells. A few brawls. Maybe a noble quest.
But this isn't that kind of story.
Behind the veil are wounds. Mine. His. The world's.
This is a slow-burn tale of survival, guilt, and the unexpected love that grows between two creatures who should never have met.
Five stars. Would get magically strangled by vines again. 😏
