So I've read a lot of Watching the Movie Fanfics, but not a lot of watching the series fanfics. So let's see what happens when I show Race to the Edge to the past Berk, before they have befriended dragons, but after Hiccup became friends with Toothless. Let's say when Stoick and the adults have returned from trying to find the nest. First Fanfiction I've written, so no flames please. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

NOTE: This takes place during the third season: Race To The Edge It began as a normal day... and ended like nothing before! Hiccup becomes hypnotised by a new species of dragon and acts like what one might call... defensive of Astrid. This new Hiccup is kind of.... cute.... but nonetheless, it isn't normal Hiccup. After returning to Berk from the Edge the gang are settling back into life there. That is until heather arrives with an interesting game in mind, for her and Astrid.

Hiccup and the others get kicked off of Berk, and they have made a flock with many dragons from rtte. Now, they are leaving the edge and exploring the world, heading southwest, to warmer waters. The rescue riders have just made friends with grumblegard, and have invited grumblegard over to huttsgalor to visit. Grumblegard reluctantly goes, mostly because of the baby influence, but while he's gone there no one to guard his island... This will go on through season 2 and the three short movies. Takes place in the Huttsgalorian archipelago
