To Marco, she was the woman he never meant to love...the one person who made him question the life he had always chosen. They came from opposite sides of the sea, yet somehow, they kept finding each other. And sometimes, love is not about choosing between two people. It is about loving someone you can never truly have.

Marin runs a quiet seaside inn where everyone is welcome, regardless of whether they are pirates, Marines, or ordinary travelers. Her peaceful life changes when a badly damaged pirate ship arrives at her island, carrying Portgas D. Ace and his crew. What begins as a simple act of kindness slowly becomes something neither Marin nor Ace expects. But Ace is a pirate, and sooner or later, he has to leave. Marin can only promise one thing: she'll be waiting. Years later, Ace returns, unaware that Marin has been keeping a secret far older than their first meeting. A secret tied to an ancient legend, a mysterious feather, and a love that has survived more than one lifetime. Some souls find each other in every lifetime. But this time, will they finally get to stay?
