He was in a meeting face to face with the prince of the land Oikawa tooru "unfortunately 👀" be coming the main head to protect Oikawa... once Oikawa became king Iwaizumi had enough a while later he was finally sent free on his first quest to the out side. But he ran away from the his group and found worthy people to kill Oikawa. Iwaizumi went threw many challenges to kill Oikawa. And get cursed gear.
