Ceritanya hanya mengenai kematian si penyalah guna dadah; lalu memberikannya imej buruk tanpa dia dapat mempertahankan dirinya. Benarlah kata ungkapan bahawa "dead men tell no tales" (orang yang sudah mati tidak boleh bercerita). Walaubagaimanapun pengalaman survivor yang melalui detik-detik antara hidup-mati nya juga tidak dipaparkan. Novel ini mengisahkan pengalaman seorang survival yang melalui detik-detik tersebut. Juga tentang kehidupan: Kekeluargaan, cinta-benci, kesakitan-ubat, erti persahabatan, mempertahankan diri, pseudo sains & matematik (pseudo bermaksud palsu), kewangan, takdir & banyak lagi.
